Minoru Senior Society Volunteers

Minoru Seniors Society volunteers contribute to all areas of programming and service provision including food services, special events, committees and more. Volunteers are a vital and essential part of our service delivery and support the growth and development of a healthy community.

Event Centre

The Event Centre at the Minoru Centre for Active Living includes a 500 sq. ft. meeting room designed as a meeting space for community sport groups. This facility is ideal for groups hosting tournaments at Minoru Park as it has floor to ceiling windows with full views of all the outdoor sport facilities at this park.

  • 12 tables and 24 chairs

  • 55” inch monitor with laptop connections

  • Public Wi-Fi

In addition to the meeting space, there are:

  • 8 team change rooms

  • Referee room

  • First aid room

  • Concession for tournament use
