Pass is valid for fitness classes, aquafit, registered fitness centre visits and swim sessions.
If you would like to use your membership to attend a fitness class or fitness centre registered visit at a facility other than where your membership was purchased, an add-on fee of $1 (community centres) or $4.80 (Minoru Centre for Active Living and Watermania) will apply.
*Family admission is per person and must include 1 (maximum 2) parent/legal guardian accompanying dependent children 2 years to 18 years of age living in the same household.
Children under 7 years old must be accompanied and supervised in the water and within arm’s reach of a responsible person of at least 16 years of age.

 

 

Monthly Continuous Memberships

Monthly Continuous Memberships are automatically renewed on a monthly basis on the same date of purchase. The benefits include ease of automatic payments to break up the costs on a monthly basis. No need to renew your monthly pass. The cost benefit is a significant reduction from the cost of the month membership at approximately 40% reduction.

Class Descriptions

Aqua Conditioning Deep (Moderate Intensity)
Strengthen deep muscles of the core for a combined cardio and muscle conditioning workout.
 Power Water Shallow (Moderate Intensity)
Build stamina and strength in this heart pumping mix of low impact and power moves. Enjoy a full body workout complete with cardio and strength training
Rise and Shine Shallow (Low Intensity)
Start the morning off right in this invigorating and fun total body workout.
Seniors Splash Shallow (Low Intensity)
Ease aching joints and add strength, balance, and pwoer to everyday movements. Enjoy a mix of cardio, strength, balance and flexibility for a well-rounded workout with less impact.

Aquafit Etiquette

Keep workouts fun and safe for all with these guidelines:
  • Be respectful to all staff and felow participants during group workouts in the shared aquatic space.
  • Arrive on time toclass; latecomers are not permitted 5 minutes after start time.
  • Use lockers for personal belongings and store all equipment in a safe area to the side.
  • Participate in the warm up, cool down and stretch to help prevent injury. Each component of the class is equally important.
  • Listen to our body and work at your own pace. Ask for help if needed.
  • Keep hydrated! Drink water before, during and after the class.
If you are new to the class, arrive early and introduce yourself to the instructor. Review the PAR-Q+ form annually to ensure you are ready to begin exercise.
