Swimming Pool Etiquette
To ensure a safe and positive experience for all members and staff, please follow the Swimming Pool Etiquette.
- Children under 7 years of age must be within arm’s reach of responsible person 16 years of age of older at all times
- Shower with soap before entering the pool deck
- Refrain from video and photo taking, unless authorized
- No street clothing or shoes on pool deck
- Walk in the facility
- Refrain from spitting, throat clearing, or otherwise discharging from the mouth or nose in the facility
- Diving is permitted in designated deep water areas only
- Only water is permitted on the pool deck for drinking in a non-glass container
- Persons with open sores, bandages, discharging ears or nose, infected eyes, or who are under the influence of intoxicants, are restricted from the pool
- Patrons are advised to inform a lifeguard prior to using the facility if they have a heart condition, diabetes, epilepsy or another medical condition
- Report all injuries or accidents immediately to a lifeguard
Fitness Centre Etiquette
In order to ensure a safe, enjoyable workout for all, please:
- Be courteous and respectful towards fellow patrons, staff and equipment
- Refrain from video and photo taking, unless authorized
- Wear appropriate athletic attire and closed-toed shoes
- Refrain from the use of perfumes, colognes and other scented products
- Respect the limit for cardio machines when others are waiting
- Share strength equipment and allow other users to “work in” between your sets
- Maintain a safe workout environment and return all equipment to its proper place
- Sanitize equipment after use
- Minimize personal noise as this is a share space
- Leave vailuables at home or use lockers provided at your own risk.
